How do we use the collected information?

We only require the collected information for the following reasons:

  • To enable you to request access to your account through the forgotten login facility on the home page, if you forget your username or password.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

We are no longer able to assist you with access to your account if you forget your login details. If you forget your login details you must use the forgotten login facility, on the website. All communications between your computer and NIPEC's Online Portfolio are now encrypted using the HTTPS protocol to enhance the security of the data you transmit. The hosting company follows best practice guidelines ensuring that relevant patches are applied to the server in a timely fashion. The security of the website is constantly reviewed and improvements made to ensure that data is transmitted and stored as securely as possible.

We will keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for or as required by law.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect and store online.

When registering on the website, it is important to choose a strong password that is difficult for anyone else to guess.

A good password should:

  • Combine numbers and letters
  • Include punctuation characters e.g. !?$£
  • Include both upper and lower case letters
  • Be at least 6 characters long and not longer than 12
  • Be only used for one system

How we use cookies
