As a Nurse, Midwife or Specialist Community Public Health Nurse you must revalidate every three years as a means of renewing your registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

To meet the NMC's revalidation requirements you must show that you are keeping up to date and actively maintaining your fitness to practise by:

  • practising a minimum number of hours.
  • undertaking continuing professional development (CPD).
  • obtaining feedback about your practice.
  • reflecting on your CPD and/or feedback and/or an event or experience in your practice and how this is relevant to the Code. Checklist of requirements and supporting evidence.
Click on any of the headings below or on the left hand side of the screen to enter the section and record your information for revalidation.

If you previously kept a learning and development log and reflective diary on the "nipecdf" website you can still view your records in the Archived Folder by clicking on learning and development log or reflective diary. You can no longer edit these but if you need to use the information from them we recommend you copy and paste the information into your CPD records or Reflective Diary for the relevant period of revalidation.
